Objections within 3 days
The period starts on service. Objections are submitted electronically or, if that is not possible, by another suitable means to the authority named on the notice.
Driver declaration within an exclusive 7-day period
When an offence is recorded from the registration number alone, the presumed owner may state that they were not driving, identify the actual driver and provide that person's declaration as well.
Roadworthiness certificate within 10 days
For the cases in article 90(4) and (5), timely production of a valid roadworthiness certificate can set the fine at 45 euros. The law lists specific vehicle exceptions.
Payment within 2 months
Fines recorded by an authorised officer are paid to the beneficiary local authority. Camera-detected offences follow the National Road Safety Fund route administered by UOT-IDOU.
