Cookies and choices on your device
The kok.lang cookie contains only the Greek or English choice and is retained for one year. It is necessary to display the language you requested.
kok.consent is a first-party cookie used only when advertising-cookie choices are active. It contains a small technical object with two values: v records the consent-notice version, while ads records true for ‘Accept all’ or false for ‘Necessary only’. It contains no unique identifier, date, email address, IP address or other personal detail and is not used for first-party aggregate measurement.
Its purpose is to remember your choice across every page, so the same question is not shown again and your answer is applied consistently. It lasts for up to six months, applies across kokparavaseis.gr, uses SameSite=Lax and is sent with Secure over HTTPS. If you delete it in your browser, no choice remains stored.
Anonymous aggregate analytics
First-party measurement is a necessary site function and does not depend on the advertising-cookie choice. It only increments a daily aggregate count by public path and language. It stores no IP address, user agent, referrer, cookie, session identifier, fingerprint or text entered in search.
Counts are aggregated on write in a database on the same server, and no per-visitor event log is created.
Contact messages
If you submit a report, the message and optional email you entered are stored without IP address, user agent or referrer. They are used only to investigate and answer the report and are retained only for as long as needed for that purpose.
Do not send a name, registration number, notice number or document photograph.
Technical security logs
The application itself writes no IP address or user agent to the analytics database or contact form. The hosting provider or reverse proxy may temporarily keep standard access logs for security, abuse prevention and diagnosis. The actual provider and retention period must be completed before public operation.
Advertising, currently disabled
Advertising is currently not displayed, no external advertising provider is loaded and no advertising request is sent from any page.
If advertising is enabled, consent will be as easy to withdraw through cookie settings as it is to give. Before any activation, this page must identify the provider, data categories, recipients, cookie lifetimes and any transfers outside the EEA.
Legal bases, rights and complaint
Language is provided because you requested it. First-party aggregate measurement does not depend on cookie consent because it neither writes nor reads a cookie and creates no visitor identifier. Security and responding to reports rely on the legitimate interest in operating and correcting the service. Advertising cookies rely solely on consent.
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or objection where applicable and withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
